Vector Range is developed by Coolsquid Software. This Privacy Policy describes how the Vector Range mobile application ("the App") handles information. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy is straightforward: we do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data.
01 Camera
The App requests access to your device camera to detect and score projectile impacts on targets in real time. All camera processing occurs entirely on your device. No camera feed, images, or video are transmitted to Coolsquid Software or any third party.
Camera data is used solely for live inference by the on-device computer vision model. Nothing is recorded or retained after the session ends.
02 Location
The App may request access to your device location solely to display local weather conditions relevant to your shooting session (e.g. wind, temperature). Location data is used in-session only, is never stored, and is never transmitted to Coolsquid Software. You may deny location access and the App will function normally without the weather feature.
03 Data Collection
Coolsquid Software does not collect any personally identifiable information. We do not collect your name, email address, device identifiers, usage analytics, crash logs, or any other data about you or your device.
The App contains no advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or third-party analytics frameworks.
04 Voluntary Image Uploads (Roboflow)
The App includes an optional feature that allows you to voluntarily upload target images to Roboflow to contribute to model training. This feature is entirely opt-in and requires an explicit action on your part each time. No images are uploaded automatically or without your knowledge.
Images submitted through this feature are governed by Roboflow's Privacy Policy. Coolsquid Software receives no personally identifiable information in connection with these uploads.
05 Data Sharing & Sale
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share any user data with third parties. Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to share.
06 Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
07 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
